2020 Rules - Local Rules and Little League Rule Book (LLRB)

Little League is governed by the Little League Rule Book (LLRB).  Each year Little League International publishes a new set of rules that were voted on the prior year. The LLRB can be purchased, and managers are given a copy of this at the start of the season. It is handy to keep an electronic e-reader version on a phone to easily lookup the rules ($1.99 on App Store).  The electronic version allows easy searching, which is very useful.  Leagues are able to establish a set of Local Rules to compliment or restrict the LLRB.  Generally, local rules are not more relaxed than LLRB, but rather more restrictive.
